Why WordPress, and Other Tools

Tools – Our Curated Selection:
Inevitably, applying the principles of keyword research to actually conduct keyword research, prompts the discovery of pitfalls and questions to which there are no clear answers. Session 2 will provide attendees with a usable way to deal with these questions, move forward in confusing situations, and end up with a workable plan. It will also explain some of the tricks of the trade and provide basic templates that attendees can use when conducting their own keyword research.
Similar to the way that Session 1 explains the overall principles of the Web, seminar 2 explains the functions of all the various tools and sites needed. In many cases, there are a plethora of available tools to execute particular functions needed to do keyword research and other Internet marketing.
We will explain the various pros and cons of key tools, indicate our selection of tools, and show how to use them. Based on experience, we find that clients, left to their own devices or without counsel, will spend inordinate amounts of time comparing tools and even, “how to” courses and then involve their vendors in the discussion. We’ll cut through all that and skip to the answers.

In this session the title says “WordPress” implying site building, and that the tools are for site building. Reading the course description this looks like it’s all about keyword research and the the tools relate to that research. Can you clarify the topic: site building/hosting, or keyword research tools? many thanks
Steve: Session 1 is about the big picture of how it all works, what keywords are, why SEO is important, etc. In this Session 2, we start to introduce WordPress and some of the tools it offers us. So this session does start to introduce site building, with a constant eye on SEO and keywords.
Does that clear it up a little?
